We had three major projects completed by Sullivan Design & Construction between June 2011-March 2013. The first project was done shortly after we purchased our house – it included lots of painting, updating our kitchen, and many small jobs around the house. The second project was renovating our master bathroom – the results are beautiful and very functional! The third project included new windows, new garage doors, a new front door and entryway, and painting the entire exterior – we have received so many compliments on the results…the quality is amazing and the colors are great! Sullivan Design & Construction does high-quality work while staying within your agreed-upon budget – we are very pleased with the results of all three projects.
My husband and I chose Barry Sullivan to build our dream home in the country and Lauren Sullivan as our interior designer.
We watched the project being built from the ground up and were impressed by the quality of workmanship. We found out we could totally trust Barry as a builder and working with him and Lauren was a joy.
Lauren proved to be a true professional who knew what she was doing. The paint colors, lighting, granite, tile, and flooring are just beautiful. She “got us” right away and kept us from making some mistakes that we would regret later.
They both had the desire to please us but were not afraid to speak up when we were about to make a wrong choice.
I have heard some horror stories about having a house built but can truly say it was a wonderful experience to work with Barry and Lauren and we would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Barry for two separate projects in two years. I got quotes from a lot of other contractors, but I never felt as comfortable with anyone as I did with Barry. He’s plainspoken and honest and great at budgeting projects–he really knows his stuff and has a clear idea of what it will take to get the work done. Barry showed up and left the job site at the same time everyday and followed through with timely billing and change orders every week if needed. There were no surprises. And best of all the work was very high quality.
Our projects included: new siding, completely rebuilt exterior cornice on the entire house, new gutters, the replacement of an exterior door with a window custom trimmed to match existing windows, and a new covered patio addition.
I would absolutely recommend Barry and would personally hire him again if needed.

I am a single woman who is living her dream. Barry made part of the dream come true by building a custom home for me in the country.
